Routineology – Dean Moses

My daily writing routine was featured on 1888's website:

As a writer, my mind is always swirling with story and character musings. Therefore, when I awaken, I am bombarded with the need to write. But my most comfortable time to work is after nightfall, so I spend my days jotting down outlines in between other activities until darkness comes. Of course, sometimes, I have to work during the day, yet there is just something special about working whilst most people are sleeping. My work-space consists of a small apartment, a laptop and my muses, my two cats. The environment is preferably dark and loud, the only glow being New York City’s radiant lights, and the only sound being the music emitting from my earphones. When finished, my wife is kind enough to look over my writings. She lets me know what I do right, and, more importantly, what I do wrong. By the early hours of the morning I fall asleep listening to a podcast, and soon thereafter, I wake up ready to start the whole process all over again.

Video info:

I used the song “Shine On, Harvest Moon” by Ada Jones and Billy Murray. I obtained this from the Wikimedia Commons, a freely licensed media file repository.

This was video captured using an iPhone 5s. This video was edited using iMovie.
